OPEN POSITIONS
Life Guide 1: Your schedule would be Wednesday and Friday from 2:30 pm to 8 pm as well as Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm. Great part-time schedule with daytime hours only. Your rate of pay is $16-$17.50.
Life Guide 1: Your schedule would be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm. Great schedule with daytime hours only. Your rate of pay is $16-$17.50.
Life Guide 1: Your schedule would be Saturday from 7am-10pm. Your rate of pay is $16-$17.50.
Life Guide 2: Your schedule would be Monday and Friday from 3pm-10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-7pm. Your rate of pay is $17-$18.50.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working one-to-one with Options consumers in their homes and community.
You will be helping Options to teach or assist the people we serve to direct their own services, develop the relationships they want, participate in their own community and provide flexible, tailored services and supports. This often includes:
- Personal care tasks/skills, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, meal planning/preparation, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and healthcare-related tasks. Fostering positive relationships.
- Ensuring consumers' safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Reminding/assisting consumer with self-administration of medications (with proper training)
- Encouraging self-help activities
- Teach/perform home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning
- Planning meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, and clean-up
- Accompanying consumers to scheduled appointments and activities in the community
- Transporting consumers or running errands with consumers

Personal Support staff provides direct service and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live in their own homes. Personal Support Staff also serve as personal attendants when needed assisting with activities of daily living.

They have recently released a mandate calling for all agencies who support individuals with disabilities to require vaccine mandates for their staff. Although we do prefer vaccination as a safety precaution, we know this is a personal choice for every individual so we will make room for everyone in our organization whether you are vaccinated or not.
We will accept your religious exemption or medical (must provide paperwork for medical exemptions). We believe people have the right to say this isn't for them or their bodies. If you do not plan on getting the vaccine, you will need to test weekly and wear an N95 mask.

COVID-19 considerations:
Options is an “essential” business. We have updated our policies and amped up our safety precautions to line up with CDC recommendations. This job will require you to travel to our client’s homes where you will work your scheduled shift.
