Analysts in Prior Authorization Quality, Governance & Audits (QGA) are responsible for supporting workflow and corrective action/preventative action strategies for audits across all markets and clients delegating prior authorization pharmacy care services to OptumRx. In this role, analysts follow established project plans to help OptumRx represent its best performance in audits, and conduct research for reports and presentations for clients, examiners, and senior leadership teams to understand risks and our responses to these. Analysts either report directly to senior analysts or management, and facilitate quality improvements and monitoring of KPIs for all applicable major business objectives in the QGA vertical. Additionally, analysts support strategic initiatives across the Prior Authorization department within the Issue Management projects. Day to day, analysts work out of Microsoft Planner to organize their work, and meet with leaders and teams weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on the audit or effort.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working on a team managing audits, or performing audits on other teams/organizations
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency (preferably using LinkedIn to obtain a badge for each of these)
• Background in authorization and/or pharmacy care services in a PBM
• Demonstrated competence in developing, monitoring, and tailoring KPIs based on business needs and performance
• Demonstrated competence in delivering thoughtful, well-written and well-delivered messages in writing and in person/webinar

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in project management and using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Microsoft Planner, etc.)
• Experience with RxClaim, Prior Authorization System (PAS) or another adjudication platform or UM review processing application
