ProHealth is one of the largest private multi-specialty medical practices in the Northeast and has been serving the health needs of Long Island and the Greater New York Metropolitan area since 1997. With over 900 providers in 300 locations, our goal is to provide quality health care to ensure that our patients get the right care at the right time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide patient appointment and procedure scheduling both on the telephone and in the office, scheduling maintenance of surgeries for one or more physicians
- Reschedule patient appointments a needed using EMR
- Assist with staff scheduling and assist manager as needed
- Provide surgical instructions, communicate patient financial responsibility
- Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and actions with patient, staff, physicians, and administrators
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information
- Receives requests to schedule procedures from offices and patients and schedules the procedure according to availability
- Provide accurate information so that all departments may view and print schedule for the appointments daily, maintaining open communication with hospital departments regarding changes

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Intermediate proficiency of computer skills

- EMR/EHR knowledge
