Position Responsibilities :
- Assisting Clinicians in their treatment of patients
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary clinic by managing laundry, cleaning tables, vacuuming, and wiping down machines and other equipment as needed
- Exhibiting behaviors and practices that foster effective professional and therapeutic relationships with patients, family members, and team members
- Collaborating with all clinicians, staff, management, and physicians to safely achieve goals and cultivate effective relationships clinic-wide
- Ensuring the implementation of and compliance with all ORA policies, procedures, health and safety regulations
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations
Requirements :
- Previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred, however not required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbs
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff
- Knowledge of personal computer applications and Electronic Medical Record
