Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units. Assist with governmental audits, internal audits and/or fiscal recharges. Ensure company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications. Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country. Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions. Compiles information for statutory reports as well as internal tax reporting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

Support quarterly and year end foreign entity US GAAP income tax provision related tasks which include:
- Prepare foreign income tax provision journal entries for booking on quarterly basis and distribute annual tax provision entry for local countries for booking.
- Maintain and be responsible for foreign entity database entries into Oracle's proprietary tax provision software (Hyperion).
- Maintain foreign entity tax provision mapping.
- Update, compile, consolidate and follow up with comments from the quarterly tax questionnaire submitted by country controllers and regional tax teams.
- Review foreign provision to return true up, deferred tax assets/liabilities reconciliation and current payable reconciliation for foreign subsidiaries.
- Maintain a database of foreign entity tax dispute payments, review all new dispute payment approval details and determine the appropriate treatment for US GAAP provision purposes.
- Review foreign entity consolidated tax account movement on a monthly basis, analyzing the impact of transactions on the foreign provision.
- Involvement in other tax provision related tasks or projects.
Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years working experience in tax provision area in large public accounting or multinational company. International tax provision experience preferred.
- Candidate should have a degree in Accounting. MS in tax/CPA preferred.
- Strong excel skills essential.
- Experience in corporate accounting and consolidation process preferred.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and application of ASC 740 preferred.
- Knowledge of computerized tax preparation software preferred, ideally Corptax or Hyperion. Strong aptitude to learn new functions or features.
- The candidate should be very detailed oriented, inquisitive, well organized, able to work independently, a self-starter and a team player.

Colorado Pay Range: from $82,500 to $153,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
