About the Role
Orchard is looking for a closer who will be primarily responsible for our docs and funding processes.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Perform in an automated closing process that produces high quality, efficient loan closings for a best-in-class borrowing experience.
- Prepare closing packages with consistent supporting documentation for loan files.
- Verify all documents are accurate.
- Effectively manage the closing pipeline to meet the closing date selected by the borrower.
- Work in partnership with settlement agents to ensure that accurate and complaint closing disclosure is provided to borrowers.
- Clear any outstanding closing conditions
- Work in partnership with warehouse line to order funds for disbursement in a timely manner
- Support Operations and Sales teams as the Closing subject matter expert, answering questions as appropriate.
- Manage escalations related to closing issues, resolving open issues in a timely manner.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- 3 years of mortgage closing experience
- Experience in TRID compliance as they relate to closing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced team oriented environment
