Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill up to 7 part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Digital Experience Assistant positions to support the Digital Experience team at Oregon State University.

The Digital Experience (DX) team is in the central IT division and manages the web presence of OSU. We create usable, accessible websites using Drupal. We’re seeking curious, adaptable students who love tackling challenges and want to be part of a great team of people who collaborate with and support each other. We’re looking for students who are willing to learn, enjoy connecting our internet experiences, using new technology (like Microsoft Copilot) and who have a keen eye for detail. If you are curious about what it’s like to work on the web, in this position you can learn a CMS (content management system), web design, site architecture, UX/UI, and accessibility. This position will tackle migrating websites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 and improving the accessibility of those websites. You’ll report to one of two Web Specialists who will assign work and provide training and guidance as you work. Team members are expected to work together to solve problems while escalating issues to their supervisor as needed.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq.
