Summary:
Serves customers by processing a variety of banking transactions, opening new accounts, and researching and resolving problems in a manner that promotes and maintains positive customer experiences and relationships; and promotes the Bank’s culture, including the support of our Brand Promise and Core Values by performing the following duties.
Serves customers by processing a variety of banking transactions, opening new accounts, and researching and resolving problems in a manner that promotes and maintains positive customer experiences and relationships; and promotes the Bank’s culture, including the support of our Brand Promise and Core Values by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Processes new account applications to expand bank customer base.
- Proactively refer retail, loan, fee-income services, insurance and investment services in order to deepen the customer relationship.
- Follows through on all referrals and also refers business to other areas of the bank.
- Proactive in mining for potential relationship development and up-selling opportunities.
- Provides rate quotes accurately and according to customer service standards.
- Opens safe deposit boxes and assists customers with entering safe deposit boxes according to policies and procedures.
- Adheres to CIP procedures and follows procedures at account opening in order to eliminate possible loss to the bank.
- Initiates night depository agreements.
- Ensures accuracy for new accounts and makes corrections as necessary (utilizes A2I and new account reports).
- Completes Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for business accounts.
- Statement research – Image Centre and Docutreev.
- Relationship development ratio and referral target goal for successful referrals must be met each quarter.

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), college degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of banking platform experience preferred.
Internal:
- Minimum one-year experience as a Personal Banker II and mastery of a skill set and/or three to six months as Personal Banker III.
- Must be fully trained on account opening procedures.
