What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Production Worker position at Original Cream Puffs?
Production team members are a vital part of Team Cream Puff - baking, filling, and packing our delicious puffs for State Fairgoers. Ability to work as a team, follow directions of the lead and/or area manager, be flexible, and learn new tasks quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to team lead for daily assignments
- Learn roles of mixing, depositing, baking, slicing, filling, and packing as directed
- Operates bakery equipment, such as slicers, safely and efficiently
- Requests help and offers assistance, as a team member, to complete tasks
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Attentive to processes, especially in relation to food safety, quality and equipment use.
Required Experience:
- Able to stand or walk while working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift or carry objects, perform repetitive motions, and work in a variety of temperature conditions
- Demonstrated ability to learn and perform a variety of roles throughout a scheduled shift.
- Ability to work as a team member in a production oriented environment, communicating respectfully and clearly to co-workers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
