Original Pattern Brewing is an award winning (2023, 2022 & 2021 GABF medals!), employee owned brewery
located in Oakland CA. We are expanding rapidly and are growing our team of killer Sales Representatives. We
package cans and draft and have an extensive customer base and distribution network throughout Northern
California.
Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Representative will represent the Original Pattern brand in the assigned territory including both
maintaining existing customer relationships as well as developing new customer relationships. Our Sales
Representatives are responsible for connecting with each of our accounts on a weekly basis to check inventory and
collect orders. You will also be responsible for developing new account relationships and growing the overall sales
within the territory. This is a field based role, you will be in the field every day and spend the majority of your time
visiting existing and prospective accounts in person. The right candidate will be able to work effectively
independently, have impeccable attention to detail, have outstanding customer service skills, be a great
communicator, have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and the desire to integrate with our team and culture,
and learn all about our beer!
Job Requirements:
- A passion for quality craft beer and the industry is a requirement
- Prior craft beer industry experience is highly desirable
- Prior sales experience is highly desirable
- Customer Service orientation
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Self motivated to work primarily independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Positive attitude
- A personal vehicle in good working order is required
- Required to work normal business hours Monday through Friday, plus occasional events evening and
- Required to attend weekly sales meeting in person in Oakland
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in California
Duties and Responsibilities
- Introducing OPBC beer to new accounts
- Maintaining relationships with existing accounts
- Maintaining impeccable records
- Event and festival management for your territory
- Deep knowledge of beer and the brewing process
- Must have a clean driving record
Compensation:
- Total On Target compensation package $90,000
- No limit on Sales Bonus potential
- Travel and Expense compensation
