Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative will play a critical role in the planning, management, and execution of OPS digital experience solutions and marketing campaigns. These experiences and campaigns are part of a multi-dimensional and multi-channel digital experience strategy to improve the Orora customer experience and drive demand generation for our businesses.
Summary of Role and How You’ll Fit In
In this role, the Business Development Representative will work with Marketing, IT, & Sales teams to cultivate leads and ensure users have a consistent, high-quality experience across the digital experience solutions.
This position reports to the: Senior Manager of Digital Experience
Travel Requirement: % of Travel Required/Frequency: up to 20 %
FLSA Status: Exempt
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
- Determine the prospect's interest in various packaging solutions
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives, product specialists and prospects
- Assist with pipeline management activities and reporting
- Analyze market reports to determine where to seek out new business
- Establish contact with new business opportunities through digital marketing channels
- Create proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company products
- Maintain positive growth in your market area
- Work to convert losses into wins to the best of your ability
- Get in front of potential problems in order to minimize potential loss
- Travel to destinations to best facilitate business growth
- Utilize senior staff for training and guidance
- Stay current on digital experience & marketing trends to provide strategy recommendations
- Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Sales, Digital Marketing, Ecommerce or closely related experience for B2B organizations
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent phone, email and listening skills
- Proficient in utilizing CRM platforms, Marketing Automation platforms, Microsoft Office
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Commerce Cloud desired but not required
- Packaging industry experience preferred but not required
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Self-starter attitude with superior communication, presentation, writing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize different projects and stay on schedule
- An understanding of how to interpret P&L, financial and other sales reports
- Willingness to travel domestically with occasional international travel
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Understanding of common SEO, digital advertising, and digital marketing strategies
