What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager position at ORS Partners?
Peirce-Phelps is currently seeking a Regional Manager in its HVAC West Group. The role of the regional manager is to provide leadership to multiple branches within the region and ensure that each branch runs efficiently, meets sales goals and complies with the company’s operational procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region.
- Coach Branch Managers to maximize profitability.
- Manage a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the assigned branches including monitoring and implementing daily operations. Ensure that standard operation policies are followed.
- Facilitate individual and team meetings to develop motivation; project and performance management; and enhance employee communication.
- Review sales performance and forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals for each store and the region as a whole.
- Oversee main delivery branch to ensure efficient and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure that all sales representatives in the region have sufficient product knowledge, sales skills, customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, and computer skills to effectively perform their roles.
- Develop specific plans to ensure growth both long and short term for the region and each branch.
- Review and approve employee scheduling which effectively utilizes and manages overtime, extended hours, vacation, and other options to ensure the best use of staff.
- Review regional expenses and recommend improvements.
