SUMMARY :
The Customer Service Representative insures Glendinning customers receive the best service possible through the processing of orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other departments as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Customer Service related responsibilities and tasks.
Greets callers on telephone in a friendly, professional, positive, and helpful manner.
Routes incoming telephone calls / messages as required.
Operates central office telephone system.
Routes all incoming faxes and general email inquiries.
Greets visitors in-person in a friendly, professional, positive, and helpful manner.
Processes new sales orders (order entry).
Modifies sales orders.
Generates sales orders (prepares / prints pink order sheets including all incoming Weborders and RMA’s).
Distributes pink sales orders (walks them out to each department).
Provides appropriate product or service information to current and potential Customers.
Reviews contracts and purchase orders to assure 100% compliance to meet Company standards and Customer needs.
Must be able to learn new duties and meet changing conditions quickly and adjust to them with little difficulty.
Keeps work area clean and orderly.
May perform other duties as assigned.
