Description
We are searching for a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our orthopedic team! In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our orthopedic physicians by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for orthopedic X-ray examinations of the musculoskeletal system, including explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
- Position and immobilize patients using proper techniques to ensure accurate X-ray images.
- Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to capture high-quality digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
- Perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment and adhere to established quality control procedures.
- Maintain inventory of X-ray supplies and ensure proper restocking.
- Document patient procedures and X-ray results accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred) or a related area with eligibility to obtain an ARRT certification in Radiography
- One year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
