Job Posting for FOUNDATION ASSISTANT at Osceola Medical Center
.1 FTE/ 4 hours per week hybrid position
The Foundation Assistant is responsible for providing organizational support to the Foundation. Key areas include management of the foundation’s donor database; donor recognition and correspondence, calendar management, event assistantance, and report creation. The Foundation Assistant is a part- time role with flexibility to work from home. The position requires regularly weekly hours but may flex upward at event times. The role is imperative to the successful achievement of the Foundation’s strategic initiatives. The foundation assistant reports to the Foundation Director.
Manages donor database with care, accuracy, and attention to detail. Updates and merges data as needed. Create reports as needed. Create donor/auction/event pages as needed
Records all donations or pledges in database, set ups credit card processing for events and assures its usability offsite, runs credit cards
Assists with the generation of correspondence as requested-i.e. thank you, letters, memos, and electronic communications

Manages all meeting arrangements for the dept. including rooms; food; meeting invitations and reminders; copying of meeting agendas, minutes, and exhibits and meeting minutes as assigned
Assists with events including communications, silent auction, games, donor relations, and other duties as assigned
Creates and maintains all electronic and hard files
Communicates effectively utilizing phone, email
Knowledge-fundraising and/or event planning experience with a good working knowledge of Osceola Medical Center and the Osceola Community Health Foundation.
Skills-Must be proficient with multiple software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Donorview.
Abilities-Must have strong verbal, written and organizational skills. Must be systematic and thorough as well as tolerant of a flexible schedule. Must be diplomatic, professional, tactful and respectful when working with the public, volunteers, prospective donors and donors and adhere to strict confidentiality policies. Must be able to take direction, prioritize tasks, work well under pressure and have confidence to make decisions when needed for the benefit of the department
Limited lifting is necessary for events.
Knowledge- Significant experience in CRM, database management, and customer service. Fundraising and/or event planning is beneficial. Associated Degree is preferred or 3 years of customer service and data entry. Good working knowledge of Osceola Medical Center and the Osceola Community Health Foundation is beneficial.
