Job Purpose:
A leading worldwide sales organization representing major manufacturers within the Navy Exchange market, seeks a reliable, self-motivated Sales Assistant/Merchandiser to service Package Store( to start), in Naval Base San Diego
As an OSCWEBco merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining strong communication with Territory manager and NEX Facility Managers, executing client retail expectations and standards, shelf management, distribution, selling promotions, and expanding retail presence in a high-quality manner.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with store personnel and management and educate them on company lines
2. Maintain product stock levels, proper product rotation and follow up on any inventory issues.
3. Build and maintain displays for all Seasonal, monthly and weekly promotions.
4. Ensure new item placement in a timely manner.
5. Maintain Shelf labels, standards, and plan-o-grams integrity.
6. Assist with resets and maintain all secondary merchandising fixtures
7. Places and maintain coupons and all POS
8. Take and submitted all required photos, and complete monthly scans
10. Rotate product on floor and in stockroom
11. Follow OSC store call procedure and policies
12. Use smart device while in stores to take photos and submit compliance surveys
13. Visit Package Store twice a week
14. Consistent Phone and Email communication is an integral part of the job
15. Complete all tasks assigned by territory and regional manager
Travel and/or Driving Requirements:
1. Travel is not required
2. Driving is an essential, regular part of this job
Qualifications:
1. Strong organization skills
2. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
3. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
4.Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Applications, including, but not limited to Excel and Outlook
5.Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained
6.Sound knowledge of the principles of merchandising sales and promotion.
7. Retail experience preferred
Physical Demands:
1. Must be able to lift 50lbs
2. Must be able to climb a ladder up to 5 feet
3. Working in hot or cold environments (refrigerator or freezers/ outside for events)
Expected hours of work vary. This position may minimally require some evening and weekend work for events and as necessary
