Territory Sales Manager - 485 - Portland, OR

With a diverse clientele spanning automotive, aerospace, energy, and more, we seek a dedicated Territory Sales Manager to expand our market presence further.

Position Summary:

As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll be integral to our growth strategy. You'll leverage your expertise in OSG products to cultivate relationships and drive sales. This role entails engaging with distributors and end users through travel and relationship-building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure orders through proactive engagement with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct daily sales calls to distributors and end users, fostering connections and identifying opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage distribution channels effectively, with regular strategy sessions and reviews.
  • Provide comprehensive training on OSG products to distributors and end users.
  • Present technical solutions, document findings, and close sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of sales experience in Cutting Tools or related industries.
  • Strong communication skills across various mediums.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Residency within the assigned territory.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five-plus years of outside sales experience in the cutting tool industry.
  • Degree in engineering, business, or marketing.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and machining.
  • Presentation and public speaking skills.
  • CPSP or CMTSE certification.
  • Track record of sales growth.
