POSITION SUMMARY
Assist and support the Operations department within the Defense segment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Schedule, purchase, and maintain work orders and materials needed. Assist in areas needed and track key measures.
2. Assist in the direct activities of production management personnel.
3. Work with the Operations department to introduce, promote, and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
4. Promote growth of ISO procedures and standards.
5. Assist in the assurance of quality and accuracy of customer order fulfillment.
6. Assist in the continuous improvement techniques
7. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business or related field.
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
3. Graduation date of May 2024 or later
4. This position is a year-round opportunity that would require this individual to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI.
5. For year-round opportunities, the individual must be available to work 20 hours/week during the school year and full-time hours during summers/breaks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
2. Must have the ability to communicate with a number of individuals at different management levels.
