APlus, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join their team. This individual will perform receiving inspection, First Article Inspection, and documents verification activities for purchased parts and materials using measurement and test equipment and techniques to ensure conformance to the OSI Woodinville quality system. They will notify Quality Assurance of any concerns related to the acceptance of assemblies to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- To ensure that materials and products meet the established quality requirements.
- Verify all documentation revision and configuration levels of product being inspected.
- Interface with other departments as necessary to clarify any vague or ambiguous instructions, drawings or specifications.
- Document Non-Conforming-Material using Non-Conforming-Material-Reports.
- Filing reports on the network after approval and documenting results of inspection.

- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- HS diploma or equivalent required, years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 1 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience using calibrated measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and rulers, for mechanical inspection.
- Experience in the use of a multi-meter, power supply and/or electrical testing equipment preferred.
- Experience documenting Non-Conforming-Material or using (completing) a Non-Conforming-Material-Report (NCMR) desired.
- Must be able to use a computer to pull drawings from document control and to enter quality data.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-A-620 and IPC-A 600 preferred.
- The ability to decipher assembly drawings, parts lists, manufacturing instructions and workmanship standards preferred.
- Non-telecommuting position; must have a physical presence in a manufacturing production area on a daily and on-going basis.
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate using the English language.
