Outpatient Specialty Clinic Coordinator
Job Posting for Outpatient Specialty Clinic Coordinator at Osmond General Hospital
The Outpatient Specialty Clinic Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate all aspects of the outreach clinic to include:
- Maintain schedule of visiting specialists and clinic dates/times.
- Receive scheduling requests from area providers and schedule patients with various specialists in the EMR scheduling program.
- Communicate with visiting specialists or their office to prepare for upcoming clinics.
- Work alongside visiting specialists to provide necessary nursing services.
- Pre-authorize with insurance companies any planned procedures.
- Chart necessary information and submit charges for patient visits.
- Provide education for select minor surgical procedures
- Organize routine injections, infusions & wound care as needed
- Coordinate Employee Health program
- Assist on nursing floor if needed
Applicant must hold current Nebraska RN license. Must be highly organized, self-motivated, task oriented and an excellent communicator. Previous experience in a clinic setting is preferred. Will report directly to the hospital Chief Nursing Officer.'
