Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is an 80-year strong company that specializes in
providing services to the utility and telecommunications industries on a national scale.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a valid license who will assist foreman with restoration of a utility pole.
Immediate openings for crew members with excellent advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.)
- Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility poles.
- Help install steel trusses to deteriorated wood by putting the steel brace alongside the utility pole and driving it 5ft into the ground.
- Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Lifting 50lbs or more repetitively. Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow instructions provided to you.
- Must be able to travel Mon-Sat (if required) and work 8-12-hour days each week.
- Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison, to fellow employees.
- Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman.
Qualifications: - On the job training and opportunities for advancement
- Must be willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods to various job locations when necessary.
- Must maintain a consistent attendance record and be available for work Monday through Saturday.
