What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter/Senior Recruiter position at OTAK INC?
Otak is actively seeking a Recruiter/Senior Recruiter to become a valuable addition to our expanding team! This position may be based out of the Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA office. In this role, you will take on the essential task of researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to locate and attract top talent within our industry. Your responsibilities will span the entire recruitment process, covering positions at all levels throughout our organization. Join us as we aim to build an exceptional team!
What youll do:
- Collaborate with department managers to strategize and execute full-cycle recruiting plans.
- Attend biweekly recruitment meetings and follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Leverage resources to recruit the highest caliber candidates through online social networking and job boards, community involvement, career fairs, professional networking, internal referrals, and other relevant sources.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier candidates by utilizing various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, community involvement, career fairs and industry events, to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Craft compelling job postings that highlight Otak's company culture, values, and distinctive features to attract and resonate with prospective candidates.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
- Perform full lifecycle recruitment, including pre-screening resumes and candidates, advising hiring managers, and driving the offer process.
- Successfully negotiate candidate offer letter terms and agreements.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates and recruitment activities in our applicant tracking system.
- Successfully manage a high volume of recruitments.
- Develop hiring manager guides and implement tailored training sessions/materials for hiring and onboarding a new employee.
What you bring:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of in-house corporate recruiting; experience in architecture, civil engineering, project management, or planning preferred.
- Proven ability to strategically approach closing and negotiation stages of terms and agreements.
- Expertise in optimizing search strategies using advanced search techniques and AI tools.
- Demonstrated use of technology, social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter), and creative recruitment techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- HRIS and Applicant Tracking experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-HCP/PHR/SPHR and/or AIRS certification a plus.
The salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and work location as well as market and business considerations.
Salary Range: $65,000 to $95,000 per year
