Qualfications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College education preferred
- Logistics experience preferred
- 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred
Required Licenses, Certifications:
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage main center logistics and coordinate sub-center blood product services and logistics to ensure Quality and Compliance and the Oklahoma Blood Institute policies and procedures and all regulatory agencies. Implement efficiencies with the Director between OKC and the sub-center BPS departments. Work with the Director, BPS Coordinators, sub-center Director and main center BPS management to assess and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that corrective action to identified problems is implemented appropriately. Assist with the training program at each sub-center location for BPS Staff. Ensure that all training is completed on time and returned to the main center training coordinator. Direct supervision of all main center logistics staff including hiring, annual review, and disciplinary action. Main center logistics scheduling for all logistics activities including collections, hospital deliveries, and equipment relocations. Determination of fleet maintenance, allocation, and accident reporting. Support and development of quality improvement. Assist in coverage/job duties (back-up) for the BPS Manager and Director as needed. Reporting performance data as appropriate. Revision and/or authorship of standard operating procedures. Other projects as assigned.
