As the Mail Clerk, your duties will include managing all incoming and outgoing mail and parcels for the OURCU organization, which encompasses boxes, packages, and supply orders. The processing of incoming mail will involve screening for and being vigilant about suspicious or potentially dangerous materials. You will be responsible for the transportation of these materials to the various OURCU branch offices across Mason and Gray's Harbor Counties, ensuring a once-a-day distribution and pickup, five days a week.

EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in mailroom or clerical roles is preferred. Excellent organizational and time
management skills are crucial. A strong focus on detail and accuracy is required, in addition to
handling sensitive and confidential information pertaining to members and employees.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
High School Diploma or its equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in a mailroom or clerical role
is preferred.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Possessing strong organizational and time-management skills is essential. Proficiency in both
verbal and written communication is also required. Additionally, the capacity to work independently
is a must.
OTHER SKILLS
Applicants must possess a Washington State Driver's License and provide proof of insurance. The
employment process requires successful completion of an MVR, Credit, and Criminal Background Check.
The role necessitates the use of one's personal vehicle for pick-up and delivery tasks. It is a
non-exempt, hourly role with mileage compensation in addition to the hourly wage.

The position requires the ability to bend, stoop, and occasionally climb or reach, as well as sit
and stand for extended periods, up to 4 to 5 hours daily. The role involves primarily non-sedentary
work, necessitating the lifting of up to 50 lbs. on occasion and 20 lbs. on a regular basis. The
candidate must be capable of climbing or descending stairs in case of an emergency. Operating
standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines, and calculators is
also required. Work on a computer may be needed for 0 to 2 hours daily. Additionally, the role may
involve working extra hours or traveling off-site as needed or directed by management.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The primary work environment for this position is indoors with climate control and minimal noise.
However, there may be occasional exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures during
travel between branches.
