FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Field Service Technician position is an opportunity to support, service and install world class fitness Products including cardio, strength, video and networked systems. We are looking for someone that will be a face of the company to our customers in Orange County and San Diego. The role will be providing a high level of customer care and technical troubleshooting to resolve product and customer issues at customer locations. Install, troubleshoot, analyze and repair fitness equipment. Ensure a sound working relationship with customers in your territory. Out-Fit corporate headquarters is located in Simi Valley, CA but the technician may reside in Orange County or Irvine area.
PRIMARY DUTIES -- LEADERSHIP
- Represent Out-Fit in a positive and professional manner
- Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients and achieve company goals
- Assist in creating and implementing solutions
- Demonstrate a results-oriented and solution-driven attitude
- Arrive to appointments on time and prepared
- Maintain work areas--especially client properties--in a clean and organized manner
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines/specifications
- Equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs
- May be required to perform services such as installations or movement of equipment.
- Documents service and repair actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service and personal information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading industry publications.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience troubleshooting and servicing a variety of fitness equipment such as: Precor, Life Fitness, StarTrac, TechnoGym, Stairmaster, Schwinn, Matrix, etc.. or the aptitude to learn
- Strong Mechanical and Technical troubleshooting ability.
- Knowledge in basic TV/Internet service and installation
- Reporting skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to broker client relationships.
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to drive your own vehicle when necessary (mileage is reimbursed).
- Provide the essential tools: Basic hand and power tools, Specialty tools will be provided.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Working hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm - 40 hours per week, earlier or later times may occur.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
