Pharmacy Technician
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to perform all of the necessary daily functions of dispensing and delivering medications and supplies to King David Campus residents and employees.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be a qualified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio
Essential Functions:
· Completes order entry for new/refill medications efficiently and accurately.
· Files documentations as required by Pharmacy regulations
· Responds to customer inquiries as necessary using proper telephone etiquette
· Locates medication from Pharmacy supply area, packages in correct dispensing system and labels correctly.
· Performs unit dose packaging of medication according to pharmacy policy and procedures both accurately and efficiently.
· Delivers medication and supplies to nursing stations with sense of urgency obtaining the proper delivery documentation.
· Cleans all equipment and work areas and returns medications and supplies to original locations.
· Checks equipment for calibration, safety and proper function.
· Stocks shelves and storage areas as necessary. Rotates stock as required.
· Completes additional miscellaneous tasks to assist other Pharmacy staff as needed
