What you will be doing: 

• Oversee strategy and performance of multiple search engine optimization projects
• Direct communication with clients, acting as a go to SEO resource for clients 
• Performing in-depth keyword research
• Recommend content and layout suggestions for websites to improve user experience and lead conversion
• Ensure that the basic elements of SEO are all present throughout clients’ sites.
• Develop SEO strategies that drive traffic and ROI for our clients.
• Conduct research and analysis on clients’ industries and results to develop sound, data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Create monthly reporting for clients (OuterBox actions taken/work performed, keyword rankings, conversions, etc.) and publish to clients within a given deadline.
• Collaborate with your department Director to refine strategy and achieve the campaign's goals.
• Work collaboratively with other marketing departments (when applicable) to ensure a synergistic and holistic approach to the overall success of the client.
• Execute SEO tactics on client sites on a variety of platforms including WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, HTML via FTP, Shopify, and more.
• Note this position provides a pathway directly to a full SEO Strategist role.

What is needed to be successful at this: 

• 1-2 years of experience in SEO REQUIRED.
• 1 year in a client-facing role REQUIRED.
• Comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communications(verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. 
• SEO content development experience is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of various marketing tools to perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and other search marketing activities.
• Google Analytics Certification.
• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS.
• Proficiency with Google Suites, specifically Docs and Sheets.
• Working knowledge of Google AdWords a plus (but not required as this position is SEO focused).
