We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Patient Services Representative. While prior experience is not required, we are looking for someone with a forward-thinking proclivity, who is eager to learn. A general familiarity with the healthcare field is a plus!
This full-time position is Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and supporting our on-site patients
- Managing a multi-phone line system.
- Input and maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR system.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff on schedule management.
- Process record requests.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies regarding authorizations and eligibilities.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Forward-thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with healthcare field and terminology is helpful, but not required.
