FedEx Delivery Driver

Owen Logistics, Inc. is looking for dynamic and responsible Delivery Drivers to distribute FedEx packages promptly and accurately to our home and business customers. You will operate within Lexington, NC, Winston-Salem, or surrounding areas; with a focus on running your assigned route in a cost-effective manner to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.

JOB DESCRIPTION Part & Full time FedEx Delivery Driver Positions available. Routes run 7 days a week, so variable schedules available

Route assignments in Lexington, NC area Typical vehicles used include Promasters, 14', and 16' Box Trucks Very fast paced job requiring a minimum 115 stops per day with 180 packages delivered each day. You must be active, fast and fit Interaction with customers daily requires professional demeanor Deliver a wide variety of items that range in size and weight, to different addresses Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Follow routes and time schedule Follow FedEx/DOT regulations and safety standards.

SKILLS Proven experience as a Delivery Driver (preferred) Ability to operate vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record. Determined personality with a desire to succeed

JOB CRITERIA (APPLICANT MUST PASS THESE FEDEX REQUIREMENTS) Must have at least 1-year of verifiable Commercial Driving Experience within the past 3 years OR 5-years’ experience within the past 10 years. (Military, driving for a company in a truck, van etc. Experience does NOT require 40-hour workweek, CDL or OTR.) 21 years old or older No tickets for reckless/aggressive driving (with 80 mph, exceeding the posted speed limit by 15 mph or more), rollover accident, DWI/DUI, out-of-state violation, suspension of license in the last 60 months. No more than 2 moving violations in the last 36 months. Must be able to pass 10-year background check. NO felony conviction of any kind.

Pay: $33,800.00 - $55,000.00 per year – Varies with experience
