PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Owens Corning North American Technical Insulation (NATI) sales organization is seeking a Sales Lead within Caribbean and Central America Exports. This position is accountable for selling and managing exports and export strategy mainly in Caribbean and Central America regions.
Primary responsibility includes identifying new business opportunities, generating, and developing new roofing and insulation partners to sell the company’s products to end-users. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing roofing and insulation customer revenues. New business pursuits will involve multi-level sales efforts which will demand building credibility and developing relationships both externally and internally. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects and successful product delivery. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. Travel is up to 40%. Home office in Florida.

Job Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth & Communicate Opportunities:
- Drive the established sales objectives for exports.
- Manage the budget assigned for the Insulation market in exports including sales from US and Mexico.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Export.
- Collaborate internally to communicate and secure targets for sales and revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement and Support:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including oil and gas companies, engineering firms, and contractors, to understand their needs and promote OC products.
- Meet customers, attend industry conferences, conduct trainings, and participate in site walkdowns to understand customer needs and foster strong relationships.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, technical proposals, and product demonstrations to showcase the features and advantages of our products.
- Product Promotion and Knowledge:
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of Insulation to effectively communicate the value and benefits of OC’s products to potential customers.
- Ensure technical support and guidance to customers through specification team, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Use market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, monitor competitors' activities, and stay up to date with industry trends and customer requirements.
- Use the CRM & SAR program to register the leads and potential opportunities including forecasts, sales pipelines, and market analysis, to provide insights and updates to management.
- Responsible for 100% accuracy of sales & volume forecast.
- Answer to the Pink Answers / Insulation Answers / Roofing Answers export mailbox.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in compressor technology, industry regulations, and market trends through self-learning, attending seminars, and participating in training programs.
- Supports Owens Corning safety ideology towards 0 accidents and 0 defect.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering with business, or related field
- At least 5 years of direct sales experience; highly preferred in building materials sales
- Knowledge of contractor and distribution relationships and pricing dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally towards solving problems.
- Capacity and skills to manage and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Ability to market, educate and sell new products and services.
- Understanding of knowledge of the export market, mainly Caribbean and Central America countries, including trends, regulations, and specific requirements.
- Experience in the building materials industry.
- Understands the impact of codes and public policy on demand.
- Key account management.
- Experience making persuasive product presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, change, and create value propositions.
- Leading, coaching or influencing others to achieve results.
