Location: Owens Orthodontics in Denver and Wheat Ridge

Colorado Employment Type: 3.5-4 days a week

Transportation: Reliable transportation required (travel between two offices)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and motivated Orthodontic Clinical Assistant to join our orthodontic practice located in Denver and Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality orthodontic care and assisting our orthodontist in various procedures. While dental experience is preferred, it is not a requirement, as we are willing to train the right individual. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of orthodontics.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine orthodontic adjustments, including wire changes and bracket repositioning
  • Bond and remove braces under the supervision of the orthodontist
  • Seat and dismiss patients, ensuring their comfort and providing clear post-treatment instructions
  • Assist in digital scanning for orthodontic records and treatment planning
  • Take radiographs and other orthodontic records as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for all patients
  • Collaborate with the orthodontist and other team members to deliver efficient and effective orthodontic treatment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (dental or healthcare-related education is a plus)
  • Some dental experience is preferred, but not required (willingness to learn and receive training)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Reliable transportation to travel between our Denver and Wheat Ridge offices
  • Availability to work 3.5-4 days a week, with flexibility in scheduling
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
