What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Specialist position at Oxenham Group?
Our customer is a medical device company that has been around for 40 years, and the company is bringing a new device to market. The company is hiring a Calibration Specialist to lead their Calibrations for inhouse equipment and devices.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary contact with external calibration vendors, resolving issues and coordinating efforts, and maintaining calibration and maintenance schedules.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, review vendor certifications, and handle documentation including Work Orders and IQs.
- Doc Control: Support the documentation and management of documents along with the implementation of new eQMS.
- Training and Mentorship: Train on calibration procedures, assist with OOT investigations, and mentor less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- Must have a technical degree or certificate
- 7 years of experience in a GMP environment
- Experience interfacing with the FDA
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
