Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Endpoint Engineer within our IT Digital Workplace department based in The Woodlands or Houston, TX.
The successful candidate will design and support solutions that support the company's Digital Workplace strategy. They will work on leading edge technologies that help modernize endpoint management by leveraging the cloud to quickly deliver end-user improvements. Using a customer focused mindset, they will constantly look for ways to improve the digital workplace experience by proactively identifying issues and seeking feedback from other IT teams and the customer. Responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Reimagine the workplace and enable employees to adapt to new ways of working.
- Deliver user-centric digital workplaces and personalized experiences.
- Implement tools that measure and continually improve the digital workplace experience.
- Deploy and maintain Windows and Microsoft 365 using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune.
- Manage the settings and configuration of Windows and Microsoft 365 using Intune, AppSense, and group policy.
- Test new endpoint hardware (desktop, laptops, workstations, tablets). Define and communicate hardware standards and roadmaps. Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Improve the digital workplace experience through self-service, real-time analytics, proactive monitoring, and automated remediation.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer support teams. Provide ongoing updates and training.
- Act as an escalation point for complex endpoint issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant discipline.
- 8 years of relevant IT experience.
- Strong understanding and experience using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune.
- Strong understanding and experience using Active Directory and group policy.
- Strong PowerShell knowledge and experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Experience with Autopilot and Endpoint Analytics.
- Understanding of Azure AD.
- Experience with AppSense (Ivanti Application Control and Environment Manager).
