What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Customer Service position at PAA, LLC?
Plaza Auto Auction is looking to fill multiple positions in sales and customer service. We will provide training for candidates able to demonstrate the right attitude, work ethic, and drive to succeed. These staff positions will be responsible for customer relationships, inside sales (telephone, email, text, etc.), and road sales (traveling to customer locations). Plaza has been in business since 1962 and is one of the largest evening auto auctions in the Midwest. We are an industry leader in selling cars consigned from dealers, fleet/lease companies, credit unions and banks. As a dealer only auction, we provide both in-lane and online platforms and pride ourselves on building long term relationships with our dealers and fleet/lease customers.

Essential Functions
o Call dealers/customers to schedule cars brought to the auction on a weekly basis.
o Pay close attention to the vehicles sold and analyze statistics to provide information that will increase the number of cars brought to auction.
o Initiate contact with customers and respond to all sales questions in a timely manner.
o Learn about customer preferences and communicate important information that will strengthen the customer relationship.
o Assess customers’ business priorities and identify auction services that best meet their needs.
o Overcome customer objections, issues, or concerns, as necessary.
o Continually learn all aspects of how the auction functions and apply to ongoing customer conversations.
o Provide documentation and administrative information.
o Monitor industry trends to identify congoing market changes and utilizing that research to expand our customer base.
