Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Human Resource Generalist looking to grow their career. S/he will provide operational, staffing, and development support for our two Pace locations in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire. Key areas of focus will include promoting engagement within each facility, assisting in recruitment and retention efforts, and leading training and development initiatives. This role reports to the Regional Human Resources Manager and requires consistent, close contact with all associates within Pace Industries to understand and continuously improve employee relations while striving to make Pace Industries the employer of choice.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Partners with the Regional HR Manager to plan and carry out responsibilities around employee relations, engagement of all associates, recruitment and selection, benefits, training and development.
Ensures HR actions are aligned and in support of Plant leadership objectives.
Successfully plans, implements and maintains documentation and archiving, administrative processes, communication and procedures.
Ensures Workday (HRIS) has accurate information at the employee level and plant hierarchy.
Engages with plant leadership to understand staffing needs and associated budgets. Manages the recruiting portal and is focused on timely responses, conducting and coordinating interviews. Is able to manage contract labor partners, coordinating needs, and updating assignment status.
Leads onboarding procedures and conducts orientation training.
Connects with new hires throughout their first 3 months of employment to ensure their continued engagement and that any concerns are addressed.
Partners with Regional HR Manager to resolve personnel concerns by conducting investigations, documenting findings, and following up with involved parties to close out issues.
Manages disciplinary processes, in conjunction with line managers.
Conducts the termination of employment and associated activities, such as exit interviews.
Maintains and continuously improves training and development plan for hourly associates. Work with department members, subject matter experts, and plant leadership to ensure that expectations for proving competency are clearly laid out for hourly positions. Perform continuous reviews of Competency Based Training (CBT) documents for continuous improvement purposes.
Manage grants for training and development, ensuring reimbursements are redeemed, and monitor effectiveness of training.
Participates in Continuous Improvement of HR management systems, including weekly reporting on activity, tracking performance against defined objectives, and brainstorming and/or implementation of countermeasures to drive departmental improvements.
Assists with payroll processing.
Supports all necessary audits.

Qualifications
3-5 years of Human Resources experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred; Additional relative experience will be considered as an alternative.
Strong desire to continue development into an HR leadership role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational, computer and interpersonal skills required.
Able to effectively communicate with salaried and hourly personnel.
Able to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism.
HRIS (Workday) experience preferred but not required.
Skills:
