General Description:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all facility and maintenance functions at the Pace Wapato site. They will execute all phases of planning, startup & commissioning for small, medium, and large facility and maintenance projects. They must have the knowledge and experience to identify, evaluate and lead process improvement initiatives. This is a working manager role responsible for direct supervision of the maintenance team and applicable contract maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all facility and maintenance projects from bid development to completion.
- Assure that facility and maintenance projects follow corporate guidelines and/or applicable federal and state regulations such as OSHA, EPA, etc.
- Possess effective skills for developing, performing, evaluating and troubleshooting systems and controls.
- Evaluate and recommend facility and maintenance infrastructure requirements and improvements.
- Using OEM manuals, develop and evaluate effectiveness of PM procedures.
- Develop maintenance budget and monitor spending.
- Provide parts lists and recommend spare parts inventory.
- Professionally represent the company; confidently interact with contractors, management and peers.
- Supervise the maintenance team; plan and encourage individual development.
- Develop weekly maintenance schedules; work as a liaison between maintenance and production to assist in completion of work.
- Develop job plans for all routine and non-routine work, including minor and major outages.
- Develop and measure maintenance performance, including study of equipment reliability.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Experience/Education:
- Degree in a maintenance related field or equivalent experience.
- Supervisory experience in maintenance required.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and verbal).
JOB DETAILS:
- Salary range: $75000 - $95000 / year
- Bonus potential
- Type: Full-time, onsite
- Schedule: generally, M-F
