What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Coordinator position at PACE?
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to all client’s questions coming from email and phone calls.
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries. Send e-mail updates to customers:
- product has arrived into US
- product ready to leave Warehouse
- Pre-Storage reminder
- Delivery follow-up
- Prepare accurate bills of lading
- Communicate with domestic freight companies to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Respond to any shipping issues or complaints.
- Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
- Manage post-60-day product storage; bill clients as scheduled.
- Work with accounting and service department to report freight claims to freight company.
- Review all shipping invoices and ensure accurate billing.
Job Details:
- DIRECT HIRE opportunity
- Pay Rate: $23-$24/hr. (DOE)
- Schedule: 8am-4:30pm (M-F)
- 100% onsite - Snohomish, WA
Candidate Requirements
- 2 years' experience in a previous Logistics-related role and/or a warehouse shipping/receiving/routing role
- Strong interpersonal skills to work efficiently as a team and interact with customers and suppliers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understand the importance of providing a high-level of customer service, to clientele who are purchasing a high-end product
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
- Strong negotiation skills to work with suppliers
- Strong independent decision-making skills
