Job Summary
Employees in this position will perform essential functions of plating to produce highly engineered products principally for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical markets in a plating line environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with all employees.
- Willing to adapt work schedule to company needs.
- Attendance / Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently use applicable measuring tools such as, but not limited to Calipers and micrometers.
- Demonstrate a basic ability to read and comprehend drawings and other applicable documentation.
- Perform the following plating functions:
- Proficient usage of microscope.
- Ability to learn and use applicable area equipment.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must have the ability to work in harsh environments.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Senior I or Senior II.
- Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to Management personnel.
- Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work related rules and regulations.
- These responsibilities will be included in the plating area:
- Be able to effectively electroplate components to meet drawing and specification standards.
- Be able to use XRF to take thickness measurements of plated component.
- Knowledge of applicable military and government plating specifications
- Must be able to accurately follow instructions.
- Must be able to rack components per instructions.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective rinsing techniques, including using various hydro-washing methods and achieving water break free surfaces.
- Must be able to set amperage and voltage on rectifiers.
- Must be able to complete certification forms properly.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements
- High School graduate.
- General Education Degree.
- Zero to 1 year related experience
