Pacific Asset Advisors is seeking a full-time Property Accountant (Hybrid) to join our growing team!

The Property Accountant will be detail-oriented and responsible for managing the financial requirements of an assigned property portfolio with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating rent collection from commercial tenants through various channels including online payments, checks, and direct deposits.
- Posting payments to tenant accounts in property management software (AMSI).
- Reviewing and approving accounts payable for the assigned portfolio.
- Administering loan payments in accordance with loan agreements and payment schedules.
- Processing client distributions while complying with internal policies.
- Preparing and accurately maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting records and financial reports for the assigned property portfolio.
- Lease administration to ensure accurate and timely billing of rent/NNN and compliance with lease terms.
- Must be able to calculate CAM recs independently.
- Responsible for management fee invoicing and special billings.
- Conduct regular audits/reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and lease documents.
- Budgeting and forecasting with the property management team to develop and maintain accurate property accounts.
- Collaborating with the property management team to analyze financial performance.
- Providing analysis and insights to support decision-making efforts.
- Written and verbal communication with clients, tenants, and lenders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of previous accounting or finance experience.
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- General ledger experience is required.
- Previous experience in Property Management accounting is preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be self-motivated, highly detailed, and organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Conscientious about achieving deadlines and producing an accurate work product.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
