Repack

General Description: This position is responsible for evaluating, grading, sorting, weighing and re-packing fresh produce into original or replacement cartons or containers for re-sell.

Knowledge, skill and abilities required: Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English, as is affected by direction and paperwork). Good attention to detail, as well as an ability to differentiate different quality levels of various products. Must be able to work in a consistently cold environment (between 45-50 degrees). Must work Safely and professionally.

Essential Functions:

• Work in a constant cold environment with room temperatures not exceeding 50 degrees
• Work requires that the employee stand at a sorting table for the majority of their shift
• Lifting is a requirement i.e. cases are loaded and off-loaded onto pallets in the Re-pack area
• Availability for full time and weekends
• Ability to meet productivity requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner
