The Cleaner Tech will provide cleaning services to our clients in the downtown Portland area. We have positions open for Pioneer Courthouse Square building, and a District comprised of businesses, hotels, and residential buildings. They contract for cleaning the building entrances, sidewalks, and sidewalk furniture.

You will have an opportunity to work as an unarmed security officer, but you must be certified before you can. We offer the state certification class at no cost to you.

ALL of our team members receive extensive training that teaches you how to work and be safe in Portland’s downtown environment. You will learn how to communicate and deal with all types of people. We train you to deescalate people, ensuring you know how to keep yourself and everyone else safe. Our training will ensure you know how to stay safe. Above all, we support our team members, keeping them safe when in the field.

We will not place you in a location or any environment that is not safe. If something makes you feel unsafe, we insist you retreat to a safe location and call the duty supervisor and communications officer. The Supervisor will come to assist you. Our training program includes instructions and examples on keeping yourself safe; our track record of safety stands for itself.

The duties and responsibilities include:

· Trash pickup,

· Blowing and sweeping debris off the walks,

· Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces,

· Graffiti removal,

· Emptying trash cans,

· We are seeking Custodial Technician candidates to join our cleaning team! Candidates must be enthusiastic team players with strong communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

· At least 18 years of age

· High school diploma or equivalent education (GED)

· Physically fit enough to: work on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift push, pull and lift at least 75 pounds, and climb ladders

· Willing to work outdoors in any weather, year-round

· Must comply with our drug-free workplace policy

· All of our security officers must be DPSST certified. We provide the training at no cost to you. However, some criminal convictions may disqualify you from getting the DPSST certification.

You will be trained by professional trainers who will work with you until you can efficiently perform the job duties and functions. The training will include:
