Pacifica Companies is in search of a skilled and experienced Development Associate to contribute to the management and advancement of our commercial properties and projects. As a Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial asset management and project coordination, ensuring the success of various real estate ventures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating commercial real estate development projects from property acquisition to stabilization.
- Conduct preliminary feasibility studies, financial analyses, and due diligence for potential projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, architects, contractors, and other project consultants to facilitate timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models, pro forma analyses, and investment evaluations for potential acquisitions and development opportunities.
- Participate in identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute as a key point of contact for property-related inquiries and concerns and oversee an external property management team when applicable.
- Provide support in offering regular updates on property performance, project status, and investment returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Construction or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting commercial real estate asset management and project coordination.
- Sound knowledge of commercial real estate markets, property management principles, and construction processes.
- Ability to contribute to financial data analysis, perform investment valuations, and assist in developing comprehensive business plans.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to support the successful delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
- Effective negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in real estate software and financial modeling tools.
- Familiarity with local zoning regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- YARDI experience is preferred.
