What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales/Administrative Assistant position at Packaging Logistics Inc.?

Packaging Logistics is growing and looking for an Inside Sales/Administrative Assistant to support our Inside Sales team! You will be responsible for helping our team in providing excellent service to a wide range of customers and their markets. You will work directly with our Sales and Marketing Manager along with all other team members.

Packaging Logistics is a distribution company offering rigid packaging to a variety of industries including Beverage, Food, and Health to name a few. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, multitasker and who wants to be a part of a growing industry. You will get to learn the ins and outs of the distribution business and we will help you strive to achieve success.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps with establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules
  • Assists with keeping pricing guides up to date for sales team
  • Keeps the team informed by inputting activity and customer engagements, through SalesForce CRM
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Enters new customer information into Salesforce
  • Provide information about the products and sends samples for customer applications
  • Manages sample room - taking inventory
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Assists with any projects that are requested by manager

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in packaging services, marketing, sales, or other related fields
  • 2 year’s experience in research, data entry
  • 4 year degree OR related work experience
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Google Docs
  • Salesforce

Pay starts between $18-$20 hr. Based on experience With upside after 90 days

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Minneapolis, MN 55434: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
