Description

SUMMARY

To ensure that production and processing equipment is in working order in order to meet production goals. To work with production staff to develop machine requirements for new product introductions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of production or processing equipment.
  • Fabrication of machine guards, installation or repair or conveyers, replacement of motors, tear down or replacement of pumps, maintenance of fluid collection or distribution equipment or repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, work with general supervision
  • May provide instruction and work direction to less experienced maintenance staff.



Requirements

  • Working knowledge in all areas and extensive knowledge of at least one of the following: mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, electrical
  • Two years of technical training and 5 years of related work experience, or equivalent
