Job Posting for Pricing Analyst at Paddle

What do we do?

Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 3000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role:

As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll work directly with global clients to solve their most complicated subscription pricing, monetization, and growth challenges. This role will require you to be an expert in building trust and rapport, managing client projects and deliverables, and thinking strategically.

The salary band for this role is $75,000-$95,000

What you'll do:

  • Use your critical thinking and creativity to be the source of devising strategic recommendations for our clients, including go-to-market, monetization optimization, and product development recommendations
  • Design and build market research surveys, following best practices and utilizing tools such as Qualtrics
  • Responsible for cleaning data from disparate sources, including data wrangling and in-depth analysis
  • In supporting the consultants and senior members of the team, present your data-driven recommendations to C-suite and Senior Executives at a client organization
  • Drive project execution, including clearly and concisely communicating with internal and external key stakeholders about project statuses
  • Serve as a product owner, taking initiative to drive improvements from the front line, including streamlining processes, building out new capabilities, improving visualizations, creating better storytelling, and everything else that could feasibly make our pricing offering better

We'd love to hear from you:

  • Have experience with market research, data cleaning, and/or performing in-depth analyses on both structured and unstructured data sets
  • Love working with Excel and perhaps have knowledge of tools and languages like Python, SQL, etc.
  • Are proactive in problem-solving and comfortable completing tasks with some level of ambiguity
  • Enjoy all aspects of strategy development, from experimental design through client presentation
  • Bring prior data analysis experience in a professional capacity, preferably in technology, SaaS, consulting, financial services, investment banking, private equity, or other industries requiring critical and strategic thinking
  • Have up to 2 years of experience
