Foreclosure Supervisor
Purpose
Responsible for direct management over foreclosure timelines, state and federal requirements as instructed by the firms compliance department as well as the overall integrity of internal and external foreclosure processes. Ensure procedures and processes are in place with clients, vendors and internal staff to ensure all requirements are met, exceptions are managed and the environment is controlled. Demonstrate knowledge of cross functional departments (i.e. Bankruptcy, Evictions, Loss Mitigation, etc.) and terminology and processes associated with mortgage banking, specifically servicing. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a high-volume work environment and will have the ability to adapt to change easily.
Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities
* Responsible for supervising all specialist in the Foreclosure Department
* Maintain high volume case load while emphasizing accurate timelines and cost efficiencies without sacrificing accuracy and quality
* Responsible for continuous process improvement
* Excellent people skills required in order to foster a safe, productive work place environment
* Assistance with the implementation of quality control initiatives and external regulatory requirements
* Optimize accuracy and performance standards as related to foreclosure processing
* Track, monitor and address exception results as it relates to client scorecards and performance reports
* Provide periodic reviews of departmental performance
* Responsible for implementing changes as compliance requirements arise
Job Requirements
* Bachelor Degree preferred
* 3-5 years of default experience required
* Strong analytical skills required
* High level of integrity and commitment
* Self- motivated
* Extensive knowledge of the foreclosure process
* Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
* Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
* Ability to lead others while maintaining a case load
* Team player who demonstrates a positive attitude and adaptable to change
* Strategic thinker
* Must be organized and multi-task oriented
* Must be willing to provide assistance in multiple areas whenever is necessary
