Position Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and recruitment support tasks. The Recruiting Coordinator will provide generalist administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to recruitment process including maintaining files, answering hiring questions for candidates, and reporting on on-going recruitments.
- Responsible for posting and/or updating requisitions in applicant tracking system (ATS) as well as posting to external job boards such as: LinkedIn, Clearance Jobs, Devex, and really.
- Responsible for reference checking and maintaining reference information via applicant tracking system
- Responsible for processing background checks and adjudicating results for recruiter review
- Will attend recruiting events and job fairs, assist with the creation of job fair materials and maintenance of job fair calendar
- Will assist Program Managers and Hiring Managers with scheduling candidate interviews, and coordinating application paperwork as needed
- Will schedule testing/training via eSkill as well as other resources utilized by the HR department
- Responsible for managing new hire reports, termination reports, and database clean-up.
- Will maintain recruitment specific Quality Management Standards (QMS) data on a quarterly basis
- Responsible for interfacing with vendors such as really, Devex, GIS, etc. and maintain accounts
- Responsible for coordinating new employee email accounts with corporate IT staff
- Will assist Recruiting Manager with resume screening and phone interviews as requested
- Provides research support as requested; compiling data into reports, charts and spreadsheets
- Assists with drafting and updating policies and procedural manuals
- Other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Two (2) years of professional experience, with human resources administrative experience preferred (focus in recruitment a strong plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities are essential.
- Excellent judgment is required, along with the ability to think and act quickly.
- Must have strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information, identify inconsistencies, and suggest solutions.
- Must demonstrate a high-level of professionalism and have strong business acumen skills/knowledge.
- Must be experienced at multi-tasking and working with a wide range of management and staff at all levels within an organization.
Skills: Proficient in a variety of computer software programs including Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (Preferably Workday)
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
