What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager IT position at Pagoda?
About The Role:
The Pagoda Security Team is looking to strengthen our team with an experienced ‘hands-on’ Technical IT Manager with solid experience working alongside a security function to be part of Pagoda’s success story.
Reporting to the Chief Security Officer the IT Manager will determine the IT requirements for the business and be responsible for implementing the IT strategy as we continue to grow globally.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining correct and secure configurations of various SaaS platforms used in the conduct of Pagoda’s business, such as Google Workspace
- Establishing and maintaining guidelines and guardrails for IT
- Establishing and maintaining a Configuration Management Database
- Supporting security platforms, such as IDAM
- Establishing automated onboarding and offboarding systems
- Partner with the business to drive IT initiatives
- Aligning IT infrastructure with Pagoda’s current and future requirements and goals
- Develop, implement and maintain an IT strategy relevant to Pagoda’s needs
- Establishing and maintaining remote management of mobile devices, such as laptops and phones
- Lead IT projects, including the specification and implementation of new IT infrastructures including software and hardware as appropriate
- Maintaining correct and appropriate licensing and budgeting for licensed platforms
- Managing supporting vendors as necessary
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally 5 years experience in managing and implementing IT
- Ideally 2 years managing an agile team in a leadership role and/or demonstrated ability to manage small and large scale projects
- Experience in supporting a remote workforce
- Experience of endpoint management and security, cloud technologies, and supporting globally distributed organizations
- Excellent project and time management skills
- You’re a relationship builder and have worked with both business and technical teams and understand how to communicate through various level of technical and business management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is a must
We'd Love If You Have:
- Knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and the ways in which communities and ecosystems form around them is a plus
- Experience working at a startup
Here’s What Our Interview Process Looks Like:
