PAINT Director of Operations

The Director of Operations duties include: - provide excellent customer service, lead by example, exemplify leadership and instill a positive culture - misc. operational duties: run transactions, book appointments, answer phones - work with and assist the owner in all day-to-day operations - miscellaneous administrative duties - staff and client communications - organization of marketing events - inventory management

The Manager’s duties include:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Check-in guests/client engagement
- Attend to clients (offering beverages, directing to appropriate seating etc)
- Run transactions
- Book appointments
- Answer phones
- Work with and assist the owner in all day-to-day operations
- Miscellaneous administrative duties
- Staff and client communications

The Paint Nail Bar Manager oversees all related services and staff
Customer Service
- Client Satisfaction is a top priority of Paint Nail Bar. All clients must be greeted in a Professional, friendly manner. Engage in conversation with all clients.
- Ensure all client services are met with the utmost satisfaction “downright lovely service” asking each customer after service if they are happy with their services.
- Resolve any client issues immediately. All client issues should be discussed with Owners to ensure full resolution.
- Follow up with all employees in customer service issues, providing counseling and feedback and steps to avoid negative customer experience in the future.
- Staff Supervision and Development
- Oversee all staff, Assistant Manager, Nail Tech’s, Back Bar. Supervising and communicating daily issues and needs.
- Develop and train Assistant Manager to enable smooth operation in Manager’s absence, spend time training each week to ensure Assistant gets positive feedback on performance and accomplishment of goals. Communicate and update Owners as to progress. Set goals/objectives and achievement dates for Assistant . Conduct annual review.
- Oversee Nail Tech’s to ensure they are meeting their objectives and goals, customer satisfaction, on time performance. Quality of work. Give positive feedback to ensure communication of issues/problems.
Recruitment
- Maintain and plan for Tech openings. Keeping adequate staffing levels for optimizing
- staffing levels to meet client and financial goals.
- Utilize recruitment tools to ensure full staffing. Establish relationships with Nail Tech Schools, and other organizations that can provide a “pool” of trained Tech’s.
- Utilize business hours model when working with potential staff to ensure that Tech’s schedules are flexible to business needs. When hiring ensure that flexibility to Business needs schedules are followed, including hiring Full and Part time Nail Tech’s to meet the demands of business.
Scheduling
- Review days appointments and schedules first thing each day to ensure smooth flow of client services. Checking voice mails and make scheduling adjustments and call backs as needed.
- Work with Nail Tech’s and all staff to ensure adequate staffing needs at all times. Make timely adjustments as needed, to ensure client services and sales goals are met.
- Discuss business needs with each Tech’s to ensure their flexibility to schedule’s. Working with them on seasonal needs.
- Track missed “appointment” opportunities and develop a game plan to limit missed opportunities. Tracking walk-in’s and times of day that additional staffing would benefit business needs and creating a game plan.
- Follow up on scheduling changes requested by Tech’s to ensure maximizing of schedules.
Marketing and Outreach
- Utilize up sell techniques to add on to clients services, retail goods, nail care products.
