Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager or head chef.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of food.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with the kitchen team and communicate with front-of-house staff.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and techniques.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
